Happen Tea Party!
Friday, March 5th
5:30-7:30 PM
Happen, 4201 Hamilton Ave in Northside, Cincinnati
The first one was so much fun! This is a chance for the kids, and parents, too, to get dressed up in their fancy clothes, learn about tea, and sample some in their own self-made tea cups. Even if you didn't make a cup, come on out. There will be tea herbs for the children to smell and feel and the adults to learn about, and plenty of tea to sip. There will also be some tasty locally made finger food and great community, too. I'll be there to answer any questions about those tea tidbits you've always wanted to know.

Herbal Teas
for Spring Wellness
New Date!
Saturday, April 10th
3:00-5:00PM
Enright EcoVillage in Price Hill, Cincinnati

In this class we'll talk about the different types of tea, i.e. black, green, white, herbal, etc. We'll discuss herbal options for immunity boosting in this changing weather. You'll learn how to create a tea that's not only healthy, but tasty, too! There will be plenty of easily digestible (pardon the pun) information about the herbs and the various techniques for steeping tea. And...you'll even get to create your very own tea blend to take home!
There's only room for about 20 people in this class, so preregistration is necessary. You can do that easily right now by clicking the "Pay Online" button at the bottom of the page and typing 25 in the "donation" space. Don't miss it!
Monthly Wild Edible & Herb Plant Walk
Stay tuned for the next one!
(Let's wait for the thaw)
Location to be announced
Only $10/person, $20/family, a great deal!
These have been so popular, I've decided to make them a monthly event! You'll learn how to identify common local wild plants that can be eaten, taken as tonics, or just enjoyed! Make sure you dress to get dirty. It's always beautiful in the forest!!
Optional items to bring: cameras for capturing these beauties, notebooks to remind yourself what they are, bags for wildcrafting and foraging some to take home.
Also, in honor of Mother Earth I'd like to request everyone bring a plastic bag so we can clean up some of the trash in the woods.
Hope to see you there!
